INSURANCE & FEES

Therapy should feel supportive, not confusing. Here’s how payment works at Golden Hour Therapy.

I am currently in-network with many major insurance plans. If you’re unsure whether I’m in-network with your specific plan, feel free to check here ->

Or call your insurance provider to ask:

  • Is therapy with Kenzi DeFaria in-network?

  • What is my copay or deductible?

  • Do I have mental health coverage?

Billing Made Easy with Alma & Headway

To make insurance billing smooth and secure, I use two trusted platforms: Alma and Headway.

If you're using insurance:

  • You may receive emails from Alma or Headway to confirm your insurance details.

  • They verify your benefits, submit claims, and manage copays.

You still work with me for therapy—Alma and Headway just help take the paperwork off your plate.

If you're not sure which one you’ll use, don’t worry—I’ll let you know after our consult based on your specific plan.

Using Out-of-Network Benefits? I’ve Got You.

If I’m not in-network with your insurance, you might still be able to get partial reimbursement using your out-of-network benefits.

To make that easier, I partner with Mentaya, a secure platform that:

  • Helps you check your benefits

  • Automatically submits superbills

  • Tracks your reimbursements for you
