Getting started with therapy

Welcome— I'm so glad you're here.

Whether you’ve been in therapy before or this is your very first time, starting can feel overwhelming. My goal is to make the process as simple and supportive as possible. Here's what to expect:

Step 1: Book a Free 15-Minute Consultation

Think of this as a pressure-free intro call. We’ll chat about what’s bringing you in, what you're looking for, and whether I might be a good fit for your needs.

There’s no commitment. It’s just a chance to get to know each other.

Step 2: Intake Paperwork & First Session

If we decide to move forward, I’ll send you a short set of intake forms to complete before our first full session. These are securely completed online and help us hit the ground running.

Your first session is 60 minutes long and focuses on:

  • Getting to know you

  • Understanding your goals

  • Making a plan that feels doable and collaborative

What to Bring to Your First Session:

Just yourself— however you are. Pajamas? Cool. Still unsure what to say? Totally normal. No need to come in with a perfect summary of your mental health history. We’ll figure it out together.

You don’t have to know exactly what you need yet.

You just need to be open to exploring it with someone who’s here to support you every step of the way. Ready to take the first step?
